Raw Denim is in a class all it's own and you will love how it looks, feels and wears over time. These are not the disposable, cheap jeans you blow out and buy every six months. Tobaccos are built to last, our denim and American construction will take anything you can throw at it and look better as you break them in. Indigo goes with anything, these jeans can be worn out to a more formal gathering, but are most at home on the open road, hiding blood, sweat and grease and making sure you look great. Tobacco jeans are modeled after classic American brands with an updated slim-straight fit. Size up for a more relaxed look or size down for a skinnier profile. See the sizing guide for details.
Onward to Greatness ▸Our proprietary, Comfort Controlled Lining is made with 100% abrasion and high temperature resistance fiber thread lining to protect you with determination and persistence when safety is critical. Tobaccos feel soft against your skin and are designed to give you maximum breathability and flexibility, while still protecting your skin from the grinding pavement if things go sideways. You can ride with confidence knowing that your Tobaccos give you a skin-saving layer between your ass, and the asphalt.
Protect Your Ass Now ▸Maybe 10% of jeans are raw, meaning the denim has not been washed, distressed, or treated in any way after the dying and weaving process. Raw jeans will feel more rigid and crisp at first, after a few rides the denim softens as it starts to mold to your shape. As you break in raw denim it will crease, fade and shape to your body, becoming a perfectly fitted second skin completely unique to you.

I’ve bought 10 pair of riding jeans over the years, all different brands and the only jeans I ride in are the Archetypes! Perfect fit, comfortable, functional, protective and super stylish! My girlfriend likes me in them so much she asks me to wear them around town! Look no further, go with the Archetypes!
It comfortable and has quality construction. As someone that manufactured clothes for surf and snowboard companies, the shirt is well made. It’s a quality product. Would recommend. Looks good too!. It comfortable and has quality construction.
The pants looked great but the sizing was terrible. I am 6’4” and usually wear a 36” inseam so I thought these would be great. BUT, these things we’re like low rise jeans when I tried them on, my butt crack would have been hanging out if I were to ride with them. The problem is the legs are long but the waist to crouch area is not sized up to match the 36” inseam. These pants are NOT made for tall folks. Had to send them back for refund as they don’t have any other sizing options.
I had a different pair for over four year and ended up getting the Archtypes. They fit very and well and have been perfect so far.
Yes, dropping $400 on a pair of these jeans is worth the investment. They fit great and the protection is legit. I wore them for the first time during last Sunday’s DGR. My only gripe is consistent with others, they’re really long. Im 6’1” and typically wear a 34” length and these are still way too long. So, prepare to roll ‘em or visit your tailor. Otherwise, these are going to last for years. Already looking for my next pair.
Jeans are really good quality material wise but quality control isn't there. The seam on the right leg was off and tracked in to my shin vs ankle. In my opinion a typical retailer would solve the issue without expense to the consumer. I spent $20 to ship them back as is their policy for the customer to pay return/exchange shipping. Although the jeans were ill manufactured I get stuck paying more... I get people ordering the wrong size/ style but when the company is at fault for no quality control I have an issue. If the next pair is off then I've burnt $40 to get my $400 back after taxes and shipping. Not sure I'd buy another pair knowing I'm on the hook for no QC...
Size was perfect, the length was a little long but a little hem jobby fixed that. Love these riding pants.
I ordered the Archetype jeans in my normal size. These are awesome!!!! My wife even commented how good I looked in these jeans. The fit is perfect and they feel great, especially when riding. They aren’t cheap, but are a great VALUE.
Best jeans I've ever bought. Fit perfect right out of the packaging. 36" inseam was spot on (I'm 6'7") and the waist was correct as well with a size down. These fit well, not loose but not tight. Great jeans, ordering another pair immediately and another for my brother who rides!
Great pants, feels like I could wear them every day with no issues. Hard to believe that they’re this stylish and comfortable for being so protective. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ll be wearing these on the bike, in the shop, going to bars, going grocery shopping, golfing,…
