Would you believe that in the 80s even Los Angeles auto shops sold souvenir t-shirts?
Once upon a time, there were auto shops on Sunset Boulevard that people would visit just for the shirts. True story.
We borrowed from a few of the designs we liked & came up with this classic Tires & Lube shirt.
It's printed on a vintage-style 100% combed, ring-spun cotton crew neck ringer tee in natural color with navy ribbing on neckline and sleeves. This tee is comfortable and lightweight featuring a unisex design.
United StatesThe shirt is awesome. The sizing is a bit larger than I expected. They don't shrink too much and that is a good thing!
United StatesThe jeans look and fit great—even with the Kevlar, they aren’t necessarily any less comfortable than a new pair of high quality denim. However, the very first time I wore them, a rivet popped off the left pocket. Kind of disappointing given their price. I contacted customer support and tobacco is shipping me a rivet and covering the cost of the repair through store credit. I’m satisfied with that, but also hoping the quality control improves.
United StatesI got this shirt in addition to the “Don’t be Mean” one and they both fit great. I’m 5’11’, about 200lbs and the large was spot on. The fit is a bit trim without being tight. Very happy with them, would buy again.
It's so hard to find classic looking tees that fit my xs frame but also feels like quality. Love it, will definitely try buy more of your stuff :-)
Really like the vintage inspired look of the logo on this tee, which is what drew me to it in the first place. I always appreciate a cool tee for riding in so when you take the jacket off at the coffee shop, you still look good. Oh, yeah, the true to size fit and the comfy cotton material kinda matter too. Looking forward to other vintage designs coming out from Tabacco in the future.
