They felt pretty stiff when I first put them on. After one ride in hot weather, they felt like the best pair of jeans I own. My wife is a bit of a denim connoisseur and has encouraged me to wear all kinds of really expensive designer stuff over the years that I absolutely hated. She saw me wearing these and was instantly on board and very complimentary…now she wants some for herself. I’ve worn them while riding my FZ09 and my Wide Glide and the fit is dialed for both riding positions. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Best riding pants I’ve ever had.
most kevlar jeans are uncomfortable - these can be worn all day the mesh lining helps a lot and oh by the way, they look great! worth every penny! favorite denims in my closet (washed in cold water twice on delicate cycle and let hang dry to soften them at first)
When my jeans arrived, of course I tried them on... They fit well and looked like JEANS not riding jeans. Being brand new they were stiff, but after one cold water wash cycle and a low heat dryer cycle they felt more like my favorite Levi's. To soften them even further I ran them through a no heat air tumble cycle in the dryer with about 36 tennis balls... Now they are my favorite jeans... to ride in & work in.
This is my 3rd pair of Tobacco jeans and have both the caballo and archetype. They break in better than any jeans I've ever owned. I wear them riding or casual, they are my go to jeans every day. Fits true to size, I'm 6-1, 225 and the 36inch waist breaks in perfect for me.
These jeans required me to work them in a bit as I have worn them. For me, that is part of the charm and quality. I haven't found a pair of pants that offered every day comfort, all day long. These do that. I ride daily and see these getting better with age. Get a quality belt and you'll be set.
Looked like this brand was solid and I was excited about the piece, I had bought the archetype indigo jeans. As I expected the Kevlar lining isn't fully sewed in and ends up itching the back my legs during ridings. not to mention your paying from Kevlar that doesn't actually cover your full legs (butt and around knees). All the Jeans come at a length of 36 which was frustrating because you'll have to get it hemmed/ tailored which will cost some more after your $300+ Jeans. That or be stuck with a massive cuff that can get caught while your riding. Overall while every looked good, for the price. idk if ill buy anything else for a while.
Looks like they are just for the smaller fellas
Loving the zipper in these. Everything feels right about these and they give me that extra confidence on the road. Well done Tobacco. Thank you!
These are my favorite jeans I've ever had i always feel safer on my bike with them on, evidently I was. I crashed with this on and a black California riding shirt other than my wrist which was uncoverd I had zero road rash. THANK YOU FOREVER I WILL RIDE TOBACCO MOTORWEAR COMPANY!
these are the best jeans i own. i thought they were a little tight at first but everyday i wear them they get more comfortable. after i saw the quality on the jeans i did not hesitate to get the shirt and jacket. just buy it and u will see the difference.
