Motorcycle Jackets are usually bulky jackets meant for cooler weather but make you sweat buckets on nice days, or high-tech, hi-vis jackets that look straight out of Star Wars. That's why we created our original riding Shirt in 2016 -  the world's most versitile, comfortable motorcycle jacket that works for the whole riding season and looks good on and off the bike. 

"Bad fitting, bulky, and/or boring" sums up how I felt about most of the jackets I tested over the years.That's why we went with a classic work shirt style and used heavy 12oz Cotton Canvas for our shell. Canvas is durable and breathable while still keeping you warm whether up a cool canyon in spring or bar hopping on an october night.

• California Riding Shirts and Bandito Riding Shirts have all the same safety technology and construction. 
• California Riding Shirts have solid colorways like Carbon, Moss, Copper and Denim.
• Bandito Riding Shirts are a little more racey. If it has striped sleeves, it's a Bandito. The body of the jacket can be the same as California Riding Shirts, if it has all stripes, we call it the Breakout!

Each of our women's riding shirts is breathable, yet provides a warm layer when the ride gets cool and delivers the protection of Dupont® Kevlar™ and optional D3O™ Armor. 

• The Checkmate Racer is cut to fit women riders. It features checkered sleeves for added visability and 5 zone abrassion and armor protection. 
• The Riveter is a western style shirt complete with perl snaps. It includes 5 Zone abrassion protection and optional elbow armor. 
• The Legionnaire is a military style jacket and features a straight cut with 8 pockets throughout. It has 5 zone abrassion protection and optional elbow armor.

Our Riding shirts are designed as Shirt-Jackets, they are inentded to fit with enough room for layering for added warmth. The sleeves and bodies are cut long to give you added coverage when in the riding position.

Use a long sleeve, collared shirt that fits you well. Lay it flat and take the following measurements. Compare to the measurements of our shirt to determine what size to order.

Step 1 - Measure Chest: Measure pit to pit, where the bottom of the sleeve meets the body. 

Step 2 - Body Length: Measure from the top of the collar while buttoned up down to the bottom hem of the shirt. 

Step 3 - Sleeve Length: measure from the highest point on the sleeve to the bottom of the cuff. 

Step 3 - Compare to our chart: Match your measurement with our size chart. Consider if you will have room to layer under it. BOOM - the perfect Riding Shirt fit is yours.

Tobacco Motorwear Supports the SoCal Burn Ride, an annual charity event that supports the recovery of burn survivors and their families as well as those experiencing hardship as a result of burn injuries and fire.  In 2024, it began supporting the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation "Champ Camp," the world's largest paid camp for child burn survivors.
