Looks great, feels great. The fit is just right (Medium - I'm 5'10", 175 athletic). Like others, I've been watching and waiting to pull the trigger on several riding shirts, but decided to finally take the plunge on the Territory. Exceeds expectations, will definitely be adding more Tobacco gear.
No one will suspect this to be a motorcycle jacket. That being the case, this jacket will literally be my go to...regardless if I'm riding 2 wheels or 4. This jacket looks that good. And this jacket fits me better than 95% of the jackets I own...and I have a lot of coats and jackets. It's comfortable, has the right amount of storage, and it just looks cool. I feel cool. I was on the fence a long time for a Tobacco riding jacket and I missed out on a couple other variations. I'm just glad I pulled the trigger on this one. I'll admit, its a little bit of a sticker shock. But if you do see a flavor you like, I believe you will be very happy if you go ahead and pull the trigger too.
Was a sad day when I received my territory jacket in 2XL and discovered it was too small. Waiting for 3XL to come back in stock sucks! BUT, in all honesty this jacket is definitely a head turner. It's a little lighter then the riding shirt imo with H-UGE bottom pockets, smaller collar, old school design and definitely a go to. I would recommend sizing up but if you're a bigger dude like me, you'll have to wait till that 3XL comes back in. Regardless, I'm giving it 5 stars because it is nothing short...
When you put on some new duds and your wife sees you and says Ooh La La, you've finally done something right. The denim material is strong and durable. Stitching is solid. Buttons are tough as nails. Overall cut and fit feels good. Got the free elbow pads so that's always cool. Excellent jacket and definitely recommended.
The Territory jacket fits nicely and allows for layering without being baggy. I am 6'1", 185, and have long arms (36" sleeve on a dress shirt) and the Territory is long enough in the sleeves for good coverage when riding. I have California Riding Shirt 1.0 and am able to fit the Territory over that shirt and imagine a hoodie that wasn't too thick might work. The elbow armor is a nice touch, although with my arm length the armor sits pretty high in the sleeve. I wouldn't count on too much protection from the armor and would rate the overall protection equal to the California Riding Shirt. The California Riding Shirt fits a little closer to the body, and in a crash would stay put better than the Territory. But, for summertime riding, casual riding, etc. the kevlar liner, quality stitching, and style are unbeatable. I've layered a leather vest over the Territory which definitely improves the protection, but if I am out for a long day of aggressive riding I am wearing full leathers. I have several pieces from Tobacco, and many times wear them when I am not riding because they look and fit so great!
