I want protection ‚ñ∂We started with one of my favorite fabrics in the world, durable, water repellant, wax cotton canvas. Waxed canvas has been used for motorcyclists and other outdoor sports for decades and is prized for its strength and resistance to the elements.
I'm tired of getting wet ▸The inside is lined with soft, yet durable flannel and breathable satin poly in the sleeves that wick moisture away from the skin and help regulate your temperature.
For warmer days the jacket sleeves can be opened up at the wrists to increase airflow... as well as underarm mesh vents... complete with wheatherproof zippers. The center zipper can also be left undone to allow air to enter under the weather flap.
I need this Jacket ▸A hidden magnet in the collar holds it securely in place and you don't have to try to fasten it down on the fly. No more flapping collar or awkward fastening on the fly!

Product was great , unfortunately I felt it ran small so I had to return. Their customer service could be better. Took several tries to get return authorization.
I finally was able to snag a pair of the Boondocks overalls that I'd been eyeing for a while. I would recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. I ordered a 28 and 30 and returned the 28. They are super good quality, comfortable to ride in, and Tobacco's customer service was above and beyond. Oh and they're long! I am 5'9" tall so I was hyped to actually find a riding pant that's long enough for me.
I just received my women's McCoy jacket in white and I am stoked on it! It is super cute and flattering, but most importantly, it's rugged and crazy durable, from the heavy duty fabric to the zippers and hardware. I hope to never find out, but I have no doubt that this will offer superior protection if I happen to go down. I'm in love with this jacket and with all of your products. Thanks for being a reputable small business, and for offering such amazing quality products!
First off, just wanna say that Tobacco has incredible customer service. I wasn’t sure what size to get of the Overalls and had some general questions. They responded quickly and shipped my order out immediately. I purchased the Boondocks overalls specifically for a 2 week backroads motorcycle trip through southern Japan. I wore these Boondocks every single day of the trip so I got to know them very well. They fit me perfectly! However, I have 2 issues with the construction/functionality. Firstly the Velcro inserts that hold the protective padding around the hip/upper thigh area are incredibly uncomfortable. They scratch you while you ride and need constant adjustment. Secondly, the main pocket over the chest area has 2 buttons on either side of the top flap. Aesthetically they look cool, but they don’t hold things inside. Anytime you pop a squat things fall out. And basically anytime you take the overalls off things fall out of the pockets. That specific pocket is one I wished I could’ve stored my phone in and wallet in because of how easy it is to reach. A zipper would be better. Aside from those 2 issues these overalls are made with top quality materials. They are cut and fit well and aesthetically they’re great to look at. With some functional adjustments, for those that ride regularly, they would be perfect.
Overall, I love these boondocks. Sizing: I went with the thigh measurement. My figure is more straight. I'm 36-28-38. Ordered a 28 (my usual in jeans is between 26-28 depending on brand). I would size up if you plan on layering for winter riding. They fit but one of the top side buttons keeps coming undone--not enough to cause me to return. One of the clips on the top straps clip is is super tight and difficult to undo and redo--I'm thinking that tight is better because the clip stays better. I hemmed the bottoms because I'm only 5'5". These come long which is a good thing if you are tall. You will just need to roll them up or hem them if you are shorter. I love the protection and I can't wait to wear these in the summer with a cute top.
Unacceptable after paying $577… Unable to share complete experience since the jacket arrived used and dirty.
The sizing on the overalls is not accurate. Purchased based off of my measurements and when the size recommended showed up it was wayyyy too small. Once I got the right size, within a couple months of occasional use the elastic in the straps started fraying and wearing out. Then a few major toy after the buttons on the side fell off. I have been emailing the company for MONTHS (early part of this year) with them promising to replace the pair. But then magically they don’t have the size I wear. “It’s coming in the next shipment” is what I was told months ago. Still no real response on when I will get a replacement pair. The company has put zero efforts in keeping me updated on what’s happening. 1 star for customer service and poor product quality. Save yourself the several hundred dollars and go with a different company.
I've had issues with the side closures on the overalls. I've made several attempts to contact customer service about options and I've heard back from no one. Super disappointed in the whole experience and product.
I have been wearing my black archetype jeans for over a month now of daily riding in the PNW. They are holding up great. They allow me to ride safe and impersonate a cool professional person at work. I did get them hemmed because I prefer a single cuff, but other than that they have been perfect as is.
These fit and look like regular jeans. Exactly what I was looking for. Here’s hoping I never have to write a review about the Kevlar. ;)
