18oz Heavy-Duty Waxed Canvas. Long-loved for its rugged character. Waxed canvas is a thick 100% cotton fabric that’s saturated in wax. It's the OG weatherproofing fabric. Two exterior side pockets are great for water bottles and a full size pocket on the front gives you easy access for your journal or snacks, without having to open the main compartment.
United StatesThese jeans are more comfortable and look better than some of my expensive non riding jeans. Tobacco nailed the design and features. Even though they are Kevlar lined they are not too hot even in the summer months. You will not regret investing in these.
United StatesIt's a cool pack but too small for me, it's a tight fit to put a 15-inch laptop and other things, and it's cheaper to keep it.
United StatesSo far I haven't enjoyed using the pack, the laptop sleeve is too loose, if I could add photos I would, to you give context, putting items in are difficult because of the sleeve, the opening is tight, if I could return it I would, not to say the bag isn't useful for someone else, just not me, if I could remove the laptop sleeve I would, great looking bag, just disappointing for the price.
United StatesIMHO I feel like I received more value than what I paid for. It's refreshing given the current state of inflation. To begin this bag uses robust material, sound construction, and the appearance of something made 73 years ago. What intrigued me even more was the use of a modern nylon hexagon patterned linings; It has a vivid modern feel and utility. If there's any weakness it's the shoulder straps. They're very strong, it can't compete well against a proper hiking backpack. I'm fine with that, because it wasn't what I was looking for, I only mention it because in their marketing material they had "hiking capabilities" somewhere. It'll work, but it might dig in. I've only just received the pack so I can't comment more...it's my initial opinion. The team at Tobacco hit the ball out of the ballpark with this!
United StatesAs I use my motorcycle to ride to work as much as weather allows me, I needed a functional backpack that was practical to slide my gear into and my half dome if needed. Aesthetically I wanted something that wasn’t the same black bag I see many people wear. I’ve been using it for a month and get as many compliments on my bag as I do on about my bike. Love this pack. Can’t wait to get some road and camping trips under my belt.
United Statesif you get stuck holding the bag…make sure it is one of the Extra Mile. I normally scoff at what I consider contrived fashion gear. In this case I am guite pleased with the purchase. I like the snap/buckle combination for the main flap, and the very robust construction. The heavy canvass and leather are the real deal. The size is just right for me…anything bigger goes in the saddlebags. Skip
United StatesOn a Krav Maga retreat throughout Israel. Constantly on the move and training through rough terrain. This bag was exactly what I needed and is holding up nicely. Rugged. Easily accessible. Can store loads of gear without weighing you down. It’s pretty too!
