Wear Protection! ▸The Caballo Relaxed Fit features a higher rise and looser fit throughout. This wasthe cut that turned blue jeans into a popular fashion item back in the 1950s and has been popular ever since. The strong folded inseams and out-seams giveCaballos their name. This sturdy, clean construction was first used among cowboys who were tired of their seams, and still signifies a superior quality jean. The 13oz raw indigo denim will fade and patina as you break them in; conforming to your body to become a perfect fit unique to you.

These make you feel safe riding down the highway on Runs. After 10 rides I decided to wash them inside out and hang dry of course. They still fit the same no shrinkage no fading. I’ve worn them in 110 degrees heat in AZ and in 40 degrees chilly wind cold in San Francisco they are Awesome. The Armor fits great too. Worth the investment.
I do like these pants, but… They fit as described from the knees up. The length and width of the legs were a big problem for me. They were about 6” too long and also very wide. I did roll up the bottom of the pant legs, but this was causing issues while riding. The wind was catching them very badly and they were getting hooked on the foot pegs, shifter, brake pedal, etc. This was very unsafe for me so I ended up finding a local tailor to fix them. They will shorten and also taper them from the knees down for me. It will cost $50 extra to do this because of the double seams on the inside and outside of the pant legs. I also have to wait another 2 weeks. Other than that, I do like these pants. I washed and pressed them before taking them to the tailor. There were some stitches coming apart on the inseam of the pants after 1 wash in cold water. That problem will be fixed by the tailor too. I hope after all of this I end up with an awesome pair of riding jeans.
I’m 6’0, 210, relatively fit build. I needed to size up at least one size for both styles. It kinda sucks that i had to pay for the returns, but maybe i’ll get it back doing this review. I usually wear 34-35 waist and needed a 36 in the Tobacco brand. The caballo were way too loose for me. Maybe good for an ICP concert but not at all what what i see many bikers wearing. The Archetype jeans on the other hand fit beautifully. They were soft and comfortable and were not super snug looking like they appear in some of the pictures on the site. If you like super baggy jeans, caballo is what you need. Otherwise get the Archetype.
They are here and awesome! I’ve been shopping protective clothing since the accident last October when we learned how inferior our regular riding gear was. The Tobacco’s look great and feel great and I’m confident they’ll protect if ever it happens again. Trust me you don’t want to experience sliding down an asphalt road without protection!
Jeans are very comfortable. They are a little tight in the crotch and come way too long. The quality is impeccable though! I'm not sure if they're worth almost $400, especially that they don't come with armor of any kind, but they're definitely very very high quality. As I have only wore them once I am very happy with them.
I ordered the pants on May 31st and they didn’t arrive until June 16th despite an email saying they were shipped on June 2nd. I’ve repeatedly asked about another item that was supposed to be shipped with them and have zero response. I’ve also asked about a return due to the lack of response with no response. Quality for the money is adequate but with no customer support. It’s a “buy at your own risk” deal I guess.
The jeans I order arrived on time but were the wrong size. Reached out to customer service and the team sent me out a new pair that was the right size. On top of that they expedited the shipment which arrived before my event. Which was in the same week it was important to me and by their action it was important to them as well , this means a lot to me as it is harder and harder to find companies that care about there clients. Thank you again to the team at Tobacco Motorwear Company
I ordered pants in 2021, got into a motorcycle accident later that year, and couldn't wear the pants so I threw them to the back of my closest (unworn). In 2024, they refunded/returned the pants back to me. This company is friggn awesome. I will buy only from them from now on.
You get what you pay for .. meaning these Jeans are worth every penny. I am extremely picky and these exceeded my best expectations. Thank You, I bought the wrong size and they handled the return and replaced them right away. I will definitely be buying more of your products:,
These are great. They are comfortable enough that I wear them even when not riding. These have been great for going out on the town on colder nights and incredibly comfortable while riding. Hope to get a shirt soon if it is at all like the pants!
