An advanced, patented polymer, CE-ratedD3O® impact protectors are the latest advancement in protective armor. D3O® impact protectors utilize intelligent molecules that lock together on impact. Because of this, the impact protector can be made thinner and lighter, making a jacket more comfortable and easier to wear. However, this decreased size does not come at the expense of impact protection.

    Awesome Gear as Always

The Ironsides are great jeans, although I was expecting them to be selvedge like my original Kevlar lined ones, these are much more breathable and the armor stays in place very well. Already put close to a thousand miles on them in less than a month. The gloves and glove holder are also nice (especially the glove holder) but I do like the roper style gloves as well. They are not armored so I don’t expect too much protection out of them but they’re great for quick rips around town and they don’t pinch or give any hotspots like some of my more heavily armored gloves do. In addition, there was an issue with my order and the crew at Tobacco handled it in a way that you can really only get from small companies that care about what they’re doing. I have two pairs of jeans from them, a California riding shirt, gloves, some flannels, and I’ll be buying the armored hoodie as well. As long as Tobacco keeps making good-looking products that are actually safe and functional, too, I’ll keep buying.
