An advanced, patented polymer, CE-ratedD3O® impact protectors are the latest advancement in protective armor. D3O® impact protectors utilize intelligent molecules that lock together on impact. Because of this, the impact protector can be made thinner and lighter, making a jacket more comfortable and easier to wear. However, this decreased size does not come at the expense of impact protection.
United StatesOver my latest ten years of riding, I keep buying more jackets… and each new one has the same problem as the last one… thin armor. This year, I decided to invest in better armor and I’m so glad that I did. At my age, 64ish, even falling over at a gas pump can hurt, so I like the peace of mind of better knee, elbow and shoulder protection. It gives my loved ones peace of mind too that I’m taking care of myself. BTW… thanks for the ropers. When I commute to the office, I don’t want to look like I’m dressed for the track! United StatesOriginally I bought the outfit purely based on how good it looked compared to others. After wearing it recently, it’s so much more comfortable than any of my other riding gear! It makes it so much easier to maneuver my body around, get my feet down quicker and just generally feeling safer while riding 10/10 recommend

United StatesI hate to admit it, but this was my first real protective gear I’ve ever bought. I got the back, shoulder, and elbow D3O set to go with the Defiant hoodie. Very comfortable, looks great, and was surprising cool riding in 90+ degree heat. I am very happy with the purchase and I feel more confident riding with some actual body protection. After 20 years of riding, I guess I finally wised up.
