Material and color are great! Great fit as well.
This will be my third pair of gloves as I search for the most comfy glove out there. I may have found it. Riding a cafe racer with clip ons means I’m putting a lot of weight on my wrists and I needed a roomier glove to keep my hands from going numb. These rough ups are breaking in nicely and have by far been the comfiest yet. The perforation isn’t allowing as much air flow as I’d like, but I think as they break in the holes will open up a bit. I was on the cusp of the sizing guide and went with the larger of the two I was between. The fingers are a little long, but the fit around the palm and back of the hand is perfect. Great glove overall.
I have a ton of the products these guys sell - the jeans, the gloves, riding shirts, t-shirts - you name it, I have it. I keep coming back. Keep in mind this stuff is super high quality and will be stiff and tight when you get it. You literally have to use it to make it flow with your body (at least the protective riding gear) but once it "wears in," it will be like a part of you. If there was one area for improvement, it would be consistency in sizing. I typically have to order a couple sizes when a new product comes out. But their customer service is great, and they've always taken care of me. Sometimes the wrong size piles up in case I gain or lose weight - because I don't want to be without it if things change.
I've had the Archetype jeans for about a month or so now. They are fast becoming my favorite pair on and off the bike. The Kevlar liner is the softest one I've felt in a pair of pants.
When I buy riding gear I don’t compromise and my new Sunnyside Rough Ups gloves hit the mark! They are a quality product made to protect and last years! I own several gloves but these have become my go to favorites. If you want quality and protection and a glove that will get better with age get a pair! I chose the Sunnyside model for its “hi-viz” .. I’m getting black next.
These gloves are the best I've had. They are true to size and comfortable right out of the box. After a 1000+ miles they feel even better. Style, materials and construction are top quality. The velcro is very sturdy and doesn't feel like it'll wear out anytime soon. Leather is soft but thick enough for protection. I'd definitely suggest these to all real riders putting on miles that are looking for style, comfort and protection.
These are nice gloves, they fit well. I like my gloves to sit a little further up my arms, however, and so if you like that look too, go a size up. That is what I will do next time.
I've been wearing them to ride for about a month so far and they are very comfortable and well ventilated. The color is outstanding
I couldn't wait for the rain to stop to ride and try out my new gloves. Wore them when I rode to work and was not disappointed in my choice of gloves. They're comfortable, fit perfectly and have solid craftsmanship. I can only imagine they'll get even softer as I break them in.
I'm very happy with this glove everything from the fit finish the color, I usually wear arrow stitch ropers I'm eager to see how long these ones last but they look really good quality
