Got this on sale and confident it was a steal! Gorgeous thick waxed twill bag (far above canvas in quality), vintage styling with ordinarily concealed modern technical features (dry bag inner lining, storm proof zips). Been using it everyday since it arrived. Looking forward to seeing how it wears in!
I’ve had a pair of jeans and roper gloves for a few years now and they’ve been some of the most comfortable gear I own to go out on the road in. I recently decided to up my game with the McCoy, some rough up’s, the boots and a backpack. All of the products look great and inspire confidence on my Bike. The jacket is a little small on the shoulders for me and I had to go up a size though so be aware of that.
I haven't had too much of a chance to break this in yet. I was looking for an all around bag that could withstand the elements. Seems like it will be great for daily use and riding, however haven't yet tried to hike with it (though I know it's not specifically meant for that). Regardless, really happy with the quality and I LOVE the interior. Simple organization pockets and really dig the red honeycomb. So far so good and I'm looking forward to breaking it in some more.
I had been looking for a waxed canvas bag for years. In fact I bought a different one a couple of years ago and it was so heavy, I gave it away. This bag is surprisingly lightweight and very well made. Great color and high quality. Pockets are all in the right places with easy access. And my 16” Mac fits perfectly in the interior sleeve. Very satisfied with this purchase.
I love the look and few of the bag and have used the straps to attach it to the back rest of my Buell Ulysses and to my roller carry-on at the airport and has been doing well so far. I did well on a recent ten day trip to Norway. I really like the look and feel of the bag and like the roll-top design. I notice that the side pockets are a little harder to use than my Osprey backpack and the clasp on the chest strap can be a little difficult to undo. It won’t replace a hiking backpack for me but it is becoming my go to for airline and motorcycle travel.
