    Great boots!

I have several pairs of motorcycle boots but was looking for something in a nice brown shade. There were the right color and I wanted something handmade in Mexico. These quickly became my favorites- so comfortable, solid, but easy to walk around in. And I was going to change the laces out, but they seem to be super reflective. I keep all my bike gear in an outside shed which isn’t very dark but these laces seemed to light up like an Xmas tree whenever a pointed a light at them. So I’m sure they are massively reflective and visible at night. I like them so much I really want to throw my black boots out so I have an excuse to buy these in another color.

    Amber Maverick Boots

These are my favorite riding boots! They take a little breaking in, but once they do, they're comfortable and they look great. There is ankle protection and the sole plating seems to be relatively sturdy, but there isn't much top of the toe protection like I've seen in some other boots. The tread is thick and tacky for a good grip. The fit is true to size. I've only had the Mavericks for a few weeks, but they're very well made and I expect them to last a long time. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of quality motorcycle boots.

    Beautiful Boots

Coming from Iron Rangers these boots are incredibly comfortable. The commando sole is flexible and has strong traction with oily surfaces (biggest complaint when riding with the IR). For an idea of the overall size, these are comparable to timberlands, but more comfortable. I am able to wear them on the bike knowing my feet will be protected, and then walk a few miles off the bike with no issue. If I was to redesign them again I would swap the top eyelets with speed hooks, but that is a minor change for these. So far I wear these boots with the insert with my normal size running shoe and socks (size 12 vs size 11 IR). Would recommend to others.

    Great boots!

Purchased the Amber Mavericks in size 11, riding in NE Florida. These boots are fantastic. Feeling much better about riding with proper footwear, especially something purposefully designed for motorcycling. Breaking in well, have been wearing them without the insoles along with thicker socks. Great having Vibram traction underfoot at red lights, comfortable to just walk around in. Absolutely no problems with the fit & finish overall, great looking boots. Only one small gripe would be that the tag inside the tongue wore off immediately, practically disintegrated onto my socks. Just a strange occurrence, nothing to be bent outta shape over.

    Das Boot(s)

Quality and durability come to mind as if they were made by some old school German shoemaker. Once the break in period passes, you’ll love the comfort too. This is the second pair I bought that I use for both riding and everyday at my construction site. I was a faithful member of the Red Wing club but now my allegiance is to Tobacco brand.

    Nice, butt…

Great looking boots and I get a lot of compliments on them but when I got them I felt that the pull up strap looked and felt very weak and too thin up top. Turns out I was right and the leather tore yesterday. Now it looks shoddy but I am not going to take them to a leather shop to get fixed because it should not have happened. Shouldn’t be an issue on a $325 pair of boots.

    Kick Ass Boots

Just got my Mavericks and flannel shirt. Great quality and better fit than I expected. Super stoked!! I’m looking slick in the airports AND rollin down the highway. Love having gear that looks great on and off the bike

    Heavy, badass, and painful!

Still breaking them in, and the break-in process has been slowed by a broken toe. What else can go wrong??? (The Mavericks have nothing to do with the broken toe) They look great, and they do feel good while riding, just not walking (yet). I'm getting there. I have only put a few miles on the soles, but several more on the bike. So far, they're Frosted Flakes great on the bike, and I'm sure they'll break in soon.

I got the boots, and I am speechless.

I have tried many types of boots, been disappointed, sold them, tried again, same thing, but these boots!? They are the best quality I have ever had in my hands! I feel I have found the boots to accommodate me the rest of my life. And I have done product development for a living, a have education in various crafts as wood and metal works, so I have an idea of what is quality and what is not, and these shoes take the top position right away. I am truly amazed that you keep you level of quality continuously this high. Thank you for that. It's what we need product makers to do al lot more to reduce waste and garbage, so from the heart of a product man - thank you, and I look forward to enjoy hopefully a lot more great products from you guys!

    hmmm

I pre-ordered these boots and waited for months for them to show up. The first time I pulled them on , the pull strap on one broke. After that, they were the worst fitting boots I had ever felt. The protection in the heel and ankle cut into my feet. I bought two cowboy boot stretchers and with those and a peet boot dryer and lots of leather treatment, finally got them to where I could put the boots on and not be in pain. In the Army I wore many leather boots that required break in, but these were the longest and hardest to break in of any boots I have ever encountered. After breaking them in, I do really like the boots, but for the money, it took a lot of work to make them wearable...
