Close in the arms and shoulders. Not much extra hanging material. You can tell Tobacco put some thought into the tailoring here. If you want less bulky, minimal look, buy this shirt. Build quality, pockets, snaps, stitching are all top notch. I had hesitated buying For a while as the price seemed heavy for a riding shirt. Now that I have it; worth every penny. Very satisfied!
